The upcoming D23 event, Down in New Orleans – Celebrating 15 Years of The Princess and the Frog, will include a deep-dive presentation from Walt Disney Imagineering into the creation of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Taking place on March 23, 2024, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the D23 event will celebrate 15 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios' classic The Princess and the Frog.

D23 says, "Guests of this event will get a peek at what's cooking with Tiana's Bayou Adventure-coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort later this year. At a specially curated presentation, you'll discover new ingredients at play from Walt Disney Imagineering, detailing the impeccable research, collaboration, and creative development that is bringing elements of the real-life magic from New Orleans to this exciting attraction. It's going to be a can't-miss deep dive into what fans can anticipate from this new adventure with Tiana, Naveen, and a whole bayou of friends, both new and familiar!"

The D23 Down in New Orleans event on March 23 also provides one of two upcoming opportunities for Disney to announce an opening date for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, the other being the Annual Shareholders meeting on April 3.

That is probably why I was given (by other posters) my username way back when.

This post won’t age well once the first ride through videos show us the lift hill ascent is a duet between Mama Odie and Steven Tyler at a rave.

The outside of TBA looks awesome. If the inside matches it then this is going to be one amazing ride.

A small section of wall has been removed to reveal a few props. It also appears a new sign, still wrapped, has been installed in front of the railroad station. Discussing lighting is on topic. Posting about Steve Tyler, rave memes, etc. are not.

But lighting designs are within the scope of “details and construction” of the ride, no?? If OT means ‘off topic’, then this caution looks misplaced
